In Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, only 5 people have been sentenced in the last 5 years out of 129 accused human traffickers. Similar data came out in a new survey, which included chargesheets, FIRs and general diaries. The survey was conducted by several voluntary organizations. They are the Andhra Pradesh Help, as well as the Goranbos Village Development Center and PAT (Partners for Anti-Trafficking) in West Bengal. The survey shows that 3 human trafficking bail have been obtained. It's been a decade since the investigation is underway for those people. It has also been shown that out of the 122 smugglers, seven have repeatedly done so. In most cases, they are aimed at children and adolescents.
