What Process followed so far?
Secondary research on Prevention to find out what are the existing Prevention model tested in the world and what model is working and what model is not working. Five different models found.
Formative summative research
• To explore how communities in West Bengal who are most affected by human trafficking view vulnerability that causes human trafficking, as well as the underlying interrelations between factors that they link to trafficking.
• Understand how communities view human trafficking, especially trafficking in children, its ambit and how they therefore understand the ambit and dimensions of prevention of trafficking.
• To identify patterns of commonality and distinctiveness in perspectives between survivors of human trafficking, social workers and activists, and duty bearers.
• Facilitate respondents to identify approaches to prevention that they believe would be feasible and effective in preventing trafficking in persons, especially children and youth.
What Next?
